The B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (GCCIS) prepares students for careers or graduate study in computing and related fields.  The college offers 18 undergraduate and graduate degrees.  GCCIS has a student body with over 3,000 full and part-time students and employs over 150 faculty and staff.
In July 2008, the Chronicle of Higher Education, included RIT in their, "The Chronicle; 2008 Great Colleges to Work For."
